I’m going to talk about weather conditions again. Maybe I should have started a weather blog instead of a tour blog.
Last night we drove from cincinnati to Kentucky while the night sky threw down sheet and sheets of water. The roof of the van loud with the contact of billions of drops.

Driving. A Late night through texas then Oklahoma then Kansas. Listening to sigor ros. The wind whipping against the van in high pitched flutters that stay above our heads.
Everything beyond the reach of the headlights is the darkest black. no stars out and no moon.
Pulling into ghost gas stations.

Good morning Monday,
We have been driving for hours through states I wish I could walk through. Late last night the Louisiana sky got lit up in perfect breaths of lightening.
The Texas air is thick and low. We have 208 miles to austin.
